Air India cancels flights to 9 cities; Suspends Tel Aviv flights

As tensions escalate between India and Pakistan, aviation authorities have enforced temporary airport closures across sensitive regions, prompting widespread flight disruptions.
Air India has suspended all flights to and from Tel Aviv until 25th May 2025. In an official advisory, the airline stated: “Our flights to and from Tel Aviv will remain suspended till 25th May 2025. Customers holding valid tickets for travel till 25th May 2025 will be offered a one-time waiver on rescheduling charges or a full refund for cancellations.”
In a fresh update, Air India has also announced the suspension of services to several Indian cities. “Following a notification from aviation authorities on continued closure of multiple airports in India, Air India flights to and from the following stations – Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Bhuj, Jamnagar, and Rajkot – are being cancelled till 0529 hrs IST on 15 May, pending further updates,” the airline stated.
