Cleartrip unveils ‘Price Trends’ feature to reduce flight booking anxiety

The next phase is said to witness the launch of an ‘AI-powered Price Prediction model’ to provide certainty and help travellers stay ahead of price hikes, the work for this is under progress.

Cleartrip, a Flipkart company, has launched ‘Price Trends’ a first-of-its-kind feature designed to address the ‘price increase & drop anxiety’ faced by travellers. This feature is expected to replace guesswork with data, assisting users in making faster, more confident booking decisions without the fear of missing out on the best fares. 

Anything to do with flight prices - when to book, concerns about price drops, or the fear of prices increasing right after a booking remains one of the biggest sources of anxiety for travellers. Cleartrip’s ‘Price Trends’ eliminates uncertainty by analysing recent pricing patterns for specific routes and dates. It shows whether the current fare is cheaper or typical, along with the price difference, enabling travellers to make quicker, more confident booking decisions.
