Discover the World has announced the appointment of Gaurav Bhatura as Director – Aviation, India. With nearly 25 years of extensive experience spanning global airlines, airport marketing, aviation regulatory affairs, and commercial leadership. Bhatura will spearhead airline representation, business development, and market growth initiatives across India for the company and its clients.

Prior to joining Discover the World, Gaurav served as Vice President & Business Head at Balmer Lawrie, where he led a nationwide team and successfully drove significant revenue growth. He has also held the role of Country Head / Director – Thai Smile Airways, during which he launched operations across seven Indian gateways. His professional journey includes leadership roles with InterGlobe, GMR–DIAL, Singapore Airlines, and KLM, along with extensive airline representation experience across multiple regions.
