Initiatives
The foremost belief of our chapter is to connect with our members. To achieve this we are working on launching a mobile app and also a website which will have the individual profiles of all our members in detail. With these initiatives, our members will be able to know each other better. To update ourselves we are organizing knowledge-based sessions by inviting representatives from tourism boards, VFS, DMCs, and other experts of our industry. From time to time, we interact with the tourism department of the states of Andhra and Telangana.
Challenges
At present, the new challenge that is common to the travel fraternity is TCS. To understand the matter, we organized a couple of knowledge-based presentations on TCS by professionals, chartered accountants, and tax consultants. The other challenge is the adoption and application of technology. We are educating our members to adopt technology in their workings.
