Puneet Baijal has been appointed general manager at the new Hyatt Regency, Chandigarh. Baijal sees his new role as an opportunity to be able to serve his fellow team members and local community. As a hotel general manager, he is looking to develop future hospitality talent and, whilst in Chandigarh, contribute to the growth of the Hyatt Brand.
With a hospitality career spanning more than 17 years, Baijal has worked with a number of Hyatt brands. Before joining Hyatt, Baijal worked in India with both Taj and Leela.
The hotel also appointed Meena Rewari as Director of Sales & Marketing.
