IATO concludes its tri-city European roadshow, Namaste India Showcase

The roadshow, held from March 6-11, 2026, concludes its engagements across Frankfurt, Paris, and Amsterdam.

Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) concluded its first-ever international roadshow, IATO Namaste India Showcase March 6-11, 2026, to directly engage with global travel markets. The multi-city European roadshow successfully concluded its engagements across Frankfurt, Paris, and Amsterdam, strengthening tourism ties and fostering meaningful dialogue between Indian tourism stakeholders and the European travel and tourism trade.

The roadshow was supported by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Indian missions in respective countries, and was partnered exclusively with Air India. The tri-city initiative was designed to promote India’s tourism offerings through direct engagement with key European travel agents and tour operators following ITB Berlin.

The showcase created a focused B2B platform for Indian tourism stakeholders to interact with travel professionals across the three cities, enabling deeper destination awareness and strengthening business relationships with partners who actively promote India in their respective markets. Across the roadshow, travel professionals engaged in discussions around evolving traveller preferences, experiential itineraries, cultural immersion, luxury travel, and wellness tourism segments that continue to resonate strongly with European travellers.

A highlight of the showcase was the emphasis on India’s diverse tourism experiences, ranging from heritage circuits and boutique hospitality to luxury journeys such as the iconic Maharajas’ Express, represented by Ebix Travels, which attracted strong interest from travel professionals looking to expand premium offerings for their clients.

Speaking about the initiative, Ravi Gosain, President of IATO, said, “Europe continues to be an important source market for India, and initiatives like the Namaste India Showcase allow us to build meaningful relationships with travel professionals who actively promote India as a destination. Through this tri-city engagement, we were able to showcase the depth and diversity of India’s tourism experiences while strengthening collaborations with key travel partners across these markets. The positive response from the travel trade further reinforces the growing interest in India among European travellers.”

The roadshow also witnessed the participation and support of Indian diplomatic missions, reinforcing the collaborative effort to promote India as a preferred destination for international travellers. The engagement across the three cities reflected strong enthusiasm among European travel professionals to deepen their understanding of India’s tourism offerings and develop new itineraries tailored to their markets.

The successful completion of the tri-city showcase marks an important step in IATO’s continued efforts to expand India’s tourism outreach globally, encouraging stronger partnerships between Indian tourism stakeholders and international travel trade communities.

Gosain thanked the Ministry, Government and the Embassy of India, High Commission of Frankfurt, Paris and The Netherlands for the support extended to IATO for successfully organising the Roadshows and appreciated the presence of Shuchita Kishore Consul General of India, Frankfurt, Germany  and Kumar Tuhin, Ambassador of India to The Netherlands for gracing the occasion in respective cities.
