IndiGo announces direct flights between Chennai & Réunion Island

Commencing from April 29, 2026, the airline will operate its Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.
IndiGo has announced thrice weekly, direct flights between Chennai and Réunion Island, a French overseas territory in the Indian Ocean, effective April 29, 2026. The airline will operate its Airbus A320 aircraft on the route. With this, Réunion Island becomes IndiGo’s 46th international destination and its 13th from Chennai – a key gateway in South India.
Located between Madagascar and Mauritius, Réunion Island is gaining popularity among Indian outbound travellers including luxury travellers, honeymooners, adventure seekers, nature lovers, and bespoke MICE groups, all drawn by its distinctive blend of nature, culture, and immersive experiences.
