Jayant Khanna GM of Ashok Events, ITDC passes away

Jayant Khanna, General Manager of the Ashok Events, the event management division of India Tourism Development (ITDC) passed away on July 06, 2016. He was 51 years old and is survived by his wife and son. With his demise, the tourism, hospitality and events industry has lost an inspiring leader, a great human being and a veteran.
A great motivator with zeal of a young person and his down to earth attitude made him stand out in the crowd. His career spans various posts and before joining The Ashok Events, Jayant served Hotel Samrat, ITDC in the capacity of General Manager. In his condolence message, Piyush Tiwari, Director (Commerical & Marketing), ITDC said, “Our deepest condolences to family and friends on his unfortunate demise. Needless to say, he was one of the finest officers of ITDC and even better human being. We have lost a friend, a colleague but a great leader as well. His infectious smile is etched in our hearts forever.”
