The Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS) announces its upcoming Central India B2B Roadshow Series, scheduled from January 27 to 31, 2026, across five major cities: Indore, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik, and Pune. This initiative is designed to strengthen tourism partnerships, expand market reach, and showcase Karnataka’s diverse offerings—from heritage and culture to eco-tourism, wellness, and adventure—to the Central Indian travel trade community.
The roadshow will unfold across Indore on January 27, Nagpur on January 28, Aurangabad on January 29, Nashik on January 30, and Pune on January 31. The series is being organised with support of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, Mysore Sales International Ltd. (MSIL), Jungle Lodges & Resorts Ltd. (JLR), and the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), along with leading hotel chains, resorts, tour operators and destination management companies.
K. Syama Raju, President, Karnataka Tourism Society, said, “This Central India Roadshow Series is a landmark initiative for Karnataka Tourism Society. By engaging directly with the travel trade in Indore, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik, and Pune, we are building bridges of collaboration and showcasing Karnataka’s unmatched diversity. With the support of our partners, and leading hospitality brands—we are confident of creating new pathways for sustainable tourism growth.”
Mohamed Farouk, Regional Director, India tourism – West & Central, said, “The Central India B2B Roadshow embodies the spirit of ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ by encouraging domestic travel and highlighting Karnataka’s rich heritage, natural beauty, and adventure experiences. With strong partnerships across government and private stakeholders, such initiatives strengthen regional connectivity and contribute to positioning India as a year-round destination for global travelers.”
The announcement follows the success of the Destination Promotion B2B Roadshows recently held across four Southern cities—Coimbatore (Nov 25), Cochin (Nov 26), Madurai (Nov27), and Salem (Nov 28). These events witnessed participation of 42 stakeholders and drew response from over 500 buyers.
Building on this momentum, KTS is preparing a series of forward-looking initiatives including the Explore Bidar & Kalburgi Destination Orientation Programme, the Discover Bidar FAM Tour, a Guide Training Programme at Bidar under the Capacity Building Activity and the Discover Chikmagalur, Standalone B2B Event to highlight coffee country and eco-tourism circuits.
