LALIT PANWAR IS THE NEW TOURISM SECRETARY

The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has appointed Lalit K. Panwar, previously, Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs as Secretary, Ministry of Tourism. An official press release said Panwar , would succeed Parvez Dewan, who retires on October 31 as the Tourism Secretary.
The Committee cancelled its order of appointment of Arvind Mayaram, Finance Secretary and Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs as Secretary, Ministry of Tourism.
