LOT Airlines launches flight from Polland to Malta

The airline’s new service operates four times a week, year-round.
LOT Polish Airlines started flying from its global hub at Warsaw Chopin Airport to Malta International Airport, located near the capital, Valletta. Following the inaugural flight on April 16, 2025, LOT Polish Airlines offers four weekly flights to Malta – Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sunday with return flights the same days.
Michal Fijol, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines shares, “The new LOT Polish Airlines service allows our guests to discover this extraordinary island’s charms, with four convenient flights operating each week.”
Alan Borg, CEO of Malta International Airport, said, “Besides serving as a point-to-point link, the newly launched flight can be used as a connection, putting Malta on the map for potential visitors from places that are not directly connected to our islands.”
“LOT adds an additional dimension to Malta’s connectivity from Poland opening the door for segments such as business travel,” added Carlo Micallef, CEO of the Malta Tourism Authority. “Furthermore, LOT’s North American and Asian networks provide additional seamless services for visitors from these long-haul markets wanting to visit Malta.”
The airline service offers departures from Warsaw at different times, Sundays and Wednesdays at 8:05h, Tuesdays at 14:05h and Saturdays at 13:50h, with 3 hours of flight time.
