Nibu Mathew joins Hyatt Regency Trivandrum as General Manager

Hyatt Regency Trivandrum has named seasoned hospitality leader Nibu Mathew as its new General Manager, effective May 15, 2025.
With over 20 years of cross-continental experience in the hospitality sector, Mathew brings with him an impressive portfolio of leadership assignments across some hotel brands — including Hyatt, Marriott, Starwood, Shangri-La, and IHG. Known for his sharp operational acumen, people-first management philosophy, and a deep-rooted understanding of luxury hospitality, Mathew’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to elevate the brand’s footprint in the region.
