In a moment of unprecedented significance in the annals of global tourism leadership, Mohan has been elected as the Vice President for 2026, and is set to ascend as the President Elect of Skål International for 2027. This achievement marks the first time in Skål International’s 93-year history that an individual from India and the Asian continent has been elected to this esteemed position.

The announcement was officially made during the 84th Skål International World Congress held in Cuzco, Peru, a gathering of the world's foremost tourism and hospitality professionals. Mohan currently serves as the Deputy Vice President, overseeing the global finance portfolio of Skål International. His election is a testament to his exemplary leadership, strategic foresight, and steadfast dedication to the values and vision of Skål.

Founded in 1932, with its headquarters in Torremolinos, Spain, Skål International is the world’s oldest and largest association of travel and tourism professionals, encompassing a vibrant network of over 294 clubs across 75 countries. The first Skål club was established in Paris in 1934, and since then, the organization has become a beacon of global camaraderie, collaboration, and professional excellence within the tourism sector.
