Railways launches Vistadome Coach

In order to offer a delightful travelling experience to travelers, Indian Railways recently introduced a see-through Vistadome coach on its Visakhapatnam-Kirandul passenger train. The specially-designed Vistadome air-conditioned coach has large glass windows and an observation lounge that offer passengers a panoramic view of the sites along the 128-km rail route from Visakhapatnam to Araku valley hill station.
The train was flagged off through video conferencing by Suresh Prabhu, Union Railway Minister. While flagging off the train with new Vistadome coach between Visakhaptnam and Araku, Shri Prabhu said that the Vistadome coach having features like glass roof, LED lights, rotable seats, GPS based info system etc will offer to tourists to enjoy scenic beauty not only at destination but also along the journey.
