Rajesh Kumar takes charge as Director General, Uttar Pradesh Tourism

As per an official order, Rajesh Kumar has taken charge as the new Director General of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh. He is an IAS officer from the 2004 Uttar Pradesh cadre. In his previous role, he served as Commissioner in the Food Safety & Drug Administration Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

He has also served as Addtl. Land Management Commissioner with Board of Revenue at UP and Special Secretary Sports Department in his previous tenures. Kumar replaces Mukesh Kumar Meshram as the new DG Tourism. Meshram continues his role as Principal Secretary in the tourism department.
