RAJU APPOINTED AS CIVIL AVIATION MINISTER

Ashok Gajapathi Raju has been appointed as the Civil Aviation Minister at the Rashtrapati Bhavan of Narendra Modi's Union Cabinet 2014. He has been elected MLA seven times and MP one time in his 36-year-long political career. Furthermore, he has whelmed various ministries in the Andhra Pradesh cabinet.
He held office as Excise Minister and Commercial Taxes Minister in N.T.Rama Rao’s cabinet. Later, he held Finance and Legislative affairs Minister & Revenue Minister portfolios in Chandrababu Naidu’s Cabinet. He is a Politburo Member in Telugu Desam Party.
