Bengaluru-based bus operator deploys Netradyne’s AI-powered Driver•i® technology across its fleet of night coaches, leveraging AI and edge-compute to curb risky driving behaviors and enhance passenger safety.
Netradyne announced partnership with SAAM Tourist Pvt. Ltd., a Bengaluru-based transport company specialising in intercity, tourism, and corporate travel services. As part of this collaboration, SAAM will integrate Netradyne’s vision-based Driver•i® fleet safety platform across its intercity bus fleet.
This initiative is designed to raise safety standards and boost operational efficiency across SAAM’s long-distance operations. Renowned for its decades-long service and commitment to passenger safety, SAAM Tourist operates a network of intercity night sleeper coaches where driver alertness is critical.
The company has continually sought innovative ways to identify and mitigate risky driving practices across its routes. By leveraging Netradyne’s Driver•i® platform, SAAM Tourist gains real-time, actionable visibility into driver performance. This enables the company to proactively address critical safety concerns such as speeding, distracted driving (including mobile phone use), and driver fatigue. With these insights, SAAM can deliver more effective driver coaching, strengthen accountability, and ultimately enhance passenger safety across its fleet.
