The airline currently operates 15 aircrafts, plans to add three new in 2026
SalamAir, Oman’s Low-Cost Carrier, is celebrating its 9th anniversary, marking nearly a decade of delivering affordable, reliable, and accessible air travel, while strengthening its role in connecting the Sultanate of Oman with the region and beyond.
In 2025, the airline operated 22,164 flights, carried over 3.4 million passengers, and expanded its network to over 44 destinations across domestic, regional, and international markets. The airline now operates a modern fleet of 15 aircraft, reinforcing its operational capacity and long-term growth strategy.
Plans for 2026 includes the addition of three new aircraft, scheduled for delivery in May, June, and September, further supporting capacity growth and network optimisation. The airline recently launched new routes to Port Sudan (January), Damascus (May), Vienna (June), and Medan (July), with further new destinations planned for announcement during 2026, continuing its strategy of diversifying the network toward markets with strong demand and balanced competitive dynamics.

In India, the airline is represented by Aeroprime Group as its Exclusive Passenger and Cargo GSA, with operations spanning 8 key stations across the country, supporting the airline’s continued market expansion and trade engagement.
