SILKAIR INCREASES FREQUENCY ON INDIA- SINGAPORE ROUTE FOR FESTIVE SEASON

SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, will offer an additional nine weekly flights on its India – Singapore route between November 2015 and February 2016. Currently the airlines operate 38 weekly flights from eight cities (Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Kochi, Hyderabad, Trivandrum, Coimbatore and Visakhapatnam) in India.

Jagdish Bhojwani, general manager India, SilkAir said, “SilkAir has shown positive growth in India and we are keen to provide additional frequencies to Singapore during the festive season; where we anticipate an increase in leisure and family travel. These supplementary flights will give Indian passengers better connection options to Singapore and onwards.”

SilkAir’s network combined with Singapore Airlines connects to 104 destinations in 37 countries.
