Korea recorded close to 200,000 visitors from India in 2025, reflecting an increase of 13% compared to the previous year, underscoring the continued growth of the Indian outbound market. KTO continues to support the travel trade partners through initiatives such as the Korea Premium Travel Consultant program and K-Incentive Scheme 4.0.
Maldivian appoints AVIAREPS as South India GSA, sharpening market presence
Until August 2025, the Maldives welcomed 85,306 Indian visitors, a 4.7% increase year-on-year. India now ranks 6th among source markets with a 5.7% share of total arrivals. 20% growth is further forecasted in 2025 with Maldivian poised to capture a larger share of the outbound segment, particularly from South India.
Taiwan records 22,687 Indian visitors in H1 2025; reappoints Blink Brand as representative
TTA, following proper government procurement procedures, has awarded Blink Brand Solutions the contract to continue serving Taiwan’s tourism interests in India for the second consecutive year. The appointment gives TTA India office, the crucial mandate to design, plan and execute various marketing and promotional activities, including media outreach.
