It also features multiple restaurants & a conference room with a capacity of 120 guests making it suitable for corporate teambuilding offsites and incentives.
Thomas Cook (India) Limited—has expanded its portfolio adding to its existing three resorts at Durshet, Sajan and Kundalika in Maharashtra, with the launch of Nature Trails Rock Valley, marking the brand’s entry into Goa with a distinctive resort focused on immersive outdoor activities and experiences.
Located in Ponda and spread across a scenic valley at the foothills of the Western Ghats, the property extends across a sprawling 15 acres, featuring rooms close to nature, each exceeding 250 sq ft and complemented by private sit-out areas with views of the surrounding forests, river and open farmland—offering guests an immersive connection with the outdoors.
Guests can also engage in exciting adventure experiences such as zip lining, high and low rope courses, archery, target shooting, ATV rides, rappelling and kayaking, with safety assured through trained facilitators and professionally guided experiences, making the resort well-suited for individual families- especially those with children, family & friends groups and business conferences/corporate team-building engagements. Water-based experiences like kayaking and boating on the calm Khandepar backwaters allow guests to explore the landscape at a slower, more immersive pace. The resort also features an in-house spice farm, offering guided walks that introduce guests to Goa’s spice heritage, biodiversity and local ecology.
Nature Trails Rock Valley is conveniently located for easy access – just an hour’s drive from Dabolim Airport, a 40-minute drive from Madgaon Station and 45 minutes to Colva beach – making it an ideal venue to cater to a diverse range of travel requirements—from family holidays and friends’ getaways to corporate off-sites, team-building programs, day picnics and school/college adventure trips.
Mahesh Iyer – Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Thomas Cook (India) Limited said, “Nature Trails is Thomas Cook’s strategic investment to tap into India’s booming domestic opportunity by offering novel, experience-led travel offerings blending nature, activity and adventure rooted in authentic, local hospitality and flavour. Our expansion beyond Maharashtra into Goa was logical, given Goa’s strong year-round appeal, connectivity, varied landscapes and appeal across multiple traveller segments. We plan to open more Nature Trails resorts at other exciting destinations soon – so watch this space for more.”
