Treebo Hospitality Ventures (THV) strengthens its business development leadership to accelerate mid-market growth

To meet the growing demand for branded, standardised, and performance-focused hotels, THV underscores the unified leadership of Sanoj Santhosh Lal and Nikhil Joshi, who have been appointed as Regional Heads, Mid-Market Development.

Treebo Hospitality Ventures (THV) strengthens its business development leadership with the appointment of two hospitality veterans, as India’s mid-market hotel segment continues to expand faster than any other category

Sanoj Santhosh Lal has been elevated to lead THV’s development mandate for the mid-market segment across South India, one of the country’s most opportunity-rich regions. With over two decades of experience across leading Indian and international hotel groups, he has been integral to THV’s development landscape since 2016.

Nikhil has been brought in to lead mid-market development for West India, bringing hands-on experience from operations, marketing, brand systems, and commercial roles with groups like The Orchid, Kamat Hotels, Concept Hospitality, Clarks Group, The Chancery Group, and Spree Hotels.

Together, they bring complementary regional strengths and deep industry experience, forming a unified leadership engine that supports THV’s long-term growth strategy, consistent performance delivery, and owner-first management. Backed by this leadership depth, THV also offers flexible operating models, including Management Contracts and Revenue Share structures, allowing owners to select the approach that best suits their investment preferences while benefiting from THV’s proven operational capability.

Sidharth Gupta, Co-founder & CEO, THV: “As India’s mid-market hotel space continues to lead growth for us, THV’s business development leadership remains one of our strongest differentiators. By leveraging the combined capabilities of Sanoj and Nikhil, we highlight the expertise, clarity, and long-term value that owners can expect from Medalio, Ibis, and Mercure.”

Sanoj Santhosh Lal: “THV’s mid-market approach is built on feasibility, consistency, and strong partnerships. I look forward to deepening our reach across high-potential micro-markets and expanding a pipeline that creates value for owners.”

Nikhil Joshi: “Owners want predictability, trust, and transparent processes. Our combined focus is to strengthen mid-market development across Medalio, Ibis, and Mercure with structured evaluations and owner-first engagement.”
