Union Tourism Minister Chiranjeevi resigns

As a sign of protest againt the Cabinet’s nod to the state of Telangana, Union Tourism Minister K. Chiranjeevi has tendered his resignation. The Minister hails from Coastal Andhra, felt anguished over the way the protests in Seemandhra regions, going on for over two months, against the division of Andhra Pradesh were handled.
