Abu Dhabi Tourism promotes MICE in India

Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) hosted a corporate dinner in Mumbai and Pune recently, as the emirate strives to be the prime location for MICE & business events in the region.

TCA Abu Dhabi partnered with Etihad & Jet Airways for this gala dinner which was attended by leading figures from the tourism industry. Joining TCA Abu Dhabi at the event were Rotana Hotels & Resorts, the five-star Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri Hotel in Abu Dhabi, and Anantara Hotels & Resorts who also boosted the awareness of family-friendly attractions being offered in Abu Dhabi.

In order to build high focus and emphasis on India as the destination’s current leading overseas source market for hotel guests, TCA Abu Dhabi organised this meeting to spread the message about the destination being a prime location for MICE & business events.

Bejan Dinshaw, Country Manager- India, TCA Abu Dhabi said, “We were delighted to host this event and received a great response from the corporate attendees. It was a pleasure to meet everyone from the industry. I am really looking forward to the corporate trips and we look forward to hosting them in Abu Dhabi.”

The destination is also attracting a large number of business travellers through incentives and conferences. Abu Dhabi Convention Bureau’s 'Advantage Abu Dhabi' incentive programmes enable events to take place by providing financial and on-ground assistance, provided they bring viable business events to the destination.
