ACCOR AWARDS EMPLOYEES FOR SERVICE EXCELLENCE

Accor recently announced the Accor Excellence Awards for India at a special ceremony held at the ibis Delhi Airport. The Accor Excellence Awards are an annual employee recognition program that aim to recognise and pay tribute to the best performing employees and those embodying Accor values at the work place.
Present on the occasion were, Sebastien Bazin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Accor ; Michael Issenberg, Chairman and COO, Accor Asia Pacific and Jean-Michel Cassé, Senior Vice President Operations India, Accor.
Speaking on the occasion, Cassé said, “We appreciate the dedication, hard work and dynamism of the team. Our employees are paramount in ensuring that all guests arrive and depart from our hotels with positive, memorable experiences and this is our opportunity to acknowledge and applaud them for their ongoing enthusiasm and commitment to Accor.”
Gaurav Shiva, Executive Assistant Manager, Operations, Grand Mercure, Bangalore was felicitated for Performance: The “Outstanding Business Contribution” Award. This Award aims at recognising employees or managers who have achieved excellent financial performance / results in their hotel, department or area of activity.
Furthermore, Ranveer Brar, Executive Chef, Novotel Juhu Beach Mumbai was awarded for Guest Satisfaction: The “Service Star” Award. This Award aims at recognising employees or managers who have had outstanding initiatives, actions or behaviours to satisfy and enhance our guest’s satisfaction or who have demonstrate excellence in service in specific situations.
