ADTOI TEAM IN PLACE FOLLOWING RECOUNT

To break the stalemate going on in the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) on the recounting of votes, a General House meeting with the agenda of recounting of votes was convened by the Association recently.
Praveen Chugh, Returning Officer and Krishen Seth, Observer of ADTOI Elections, who conducted the election in a fair, free and transparent manner were present, and Jyoti Kapur, after calling the meeting to order, invited both of them to chair the meeting and start the proceedings.
Supporting the newly elected team headed by Kapur, the entire house demanded a recount of votes in their presence and nominated observers from among the house to start the recounting. The highlight of the meeting was ADTOI Chapter Chairpersons from Kerala and West Bengal+North East and few other members from outside , who were present to show their solidarity to the newly elected team.
The result of the recount was unchanged with Kapur and his team securing the highest votes among all other candidates who stood for elections.
