AIR INDIA’S SAN FRANCISCO-DELHI DIRECT SERVICE TO START FROM DEC 2

Air India, the Indian national flag carrier will commence its first-ever non -stop flights between Delhi-San Francisco from December 2, 2015. Slated to be one of the longest flights in the world, Air India will currently operate three flights services a week- Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, from Delhi, using Boeing 777 LR (long-range) aircraft. The introductory flight will be connected to other metros like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad etc. to reach out to travellers from these cities wanting a non-stop service to the West Coast of the United States of America.
Tom Kiely, Executive Vice President and Chief Tourism Officer, San Francisco Travel said, “We are delighted to partner with Air India on the introduction of this new airline route for our valued travellers including both business and leisure. This expansion of new route is important in strengthening our commitment to the growing and important Indian market."
