Grand Mercure Gandhinagar GIFT City announced Rahul Panwar as their new General Manager, effective October 1st, 2021. In his new role, Rahul will be responsible for overseeing daily business operations along with developing and implementing growth strategies.
A seasoned hospitality professional with approximately 15 years of hospitality experience, Rahul has worked in India and International markets, with a range of prominent brands including Hyatt, Starwood, and Radisson.
He has been associated with Accor since 2015, having worked with the teams in China and Vietnam before joining the Accor India team. In his most recent stint, Rahul was the Hotel Manager at ibis and Novotel Bengaluru, Outer Ring Road. Prior to this, Rahul was Complex EAM for Novotel Phu Quoc Resort & Novotel Villas , Phu Quoc Island (Vietnam).
