Hampi receives ‘Best Historical Destination’ award

Karnataka Tourism recently received the CNBC AWAAZ Travel Award 2013 in the category ‘Best Historical Destination’ for Hampi. This is Karnataka Tourism’s second consecutive win in this category since 2012.
The ceremony was presided over by Prithiviraj Chavan, Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Chiranjeevi Konidala, Minister of State for Tourism recently in Mumbai. Virupaksha Mysore, Director - KSTDC, received this prestigious award on behalf of Karnataka Tourism.
