IATA ACKNOWLEDGES BIRD ACADEMY

Bird Academy, the educational arm of the Bird Group, has received the prestigious “Top performing Authorized Training Centre of South Asia 2014” certificate from IATA for their role in developing the people of the industry in India by reaching out to the next generation of leaders in India.  With the receipt of this certificate, Bird academy falls in the category of top IATA institutes and   recognised IATA training centres in India, for the last four consecutive years.

On receiving the prestigious IATA certificate, Radha Bhatia, Chairperson, Bird Group said, “The aviation industry in India is growing exponentially offering a gamut of job opportunities for the aspiring young professionals. At Bird Academy, it is our constant endeavour to provide high quality learning in a modern learning environment to our students. The Academy has also been recognised and accredited by IATA as ATC (Authorised Training Centre) to conduct five training programs - ‘Foundation in Travel and Tourism; Travel and Tourism Consultant and GDS Fares and Ticketing & Cargo Introductory and Advanced Cargo Rating. During the same period, Bird Academy also received certifications from the esteemed body of Director General of Civil Aviation for conducting DGR (Dangerous Goods Regulation) courses for shippers, freight forwarders and Airline staff. The academy also conducts two months Airport Management programme for ground handling agents and aspiring students.
