The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) recently concluded a successful two-city roadshow in Mumbai and Delhi to strengthen tourism ties with India and position Jordan as a diverse and must-visit destination for Indian travellers.
The roadshow aimed to deepen connections and present Jordan as a destination that offers something for every kind of traveller. Speaking at the event, Yusuf Abdelghani, the Ambassador of Jordan to India, highlighted the importance of this growing relationship: “Jordan and India share not only strong diplomatic and economic relations but also historical and cultural bonds that go back thousands of years. Now, we want to build even stronger bridges through tourism.”
Abdelghani emphasised Jordan’s unique positioning: “Jordan is a land of contrasts, from deserts to seas, mountains to ancient cities. We offer Indian travellers the rare chance to explore deep history, natural beauty, and luxurious wellness all in one journey.”
Abdelghani noted, “We understand that ease of travel is a key factor in destination choice. With new direct flights and a streamlined e-visa process, we are making Jordan more accessible than ever for our Indian friends.” He also highlighted the growing interest: “We see tremendous potential in MICE, wedding, and film tourism from India. Our landscapes are breathtaking, our service is world-class, and our hospitality is heartfelt. We are ready to support Indian productions and events not just with locations, but with logistics and hospitality that exceed expectations.”
Munnmun Marwah, COO of Think Strawberries, official representatives of the Jordan Tourism Board in India, added, “India is a vibrant and diverse market with a deep appreciation for meaningful travel experiences. Jordan resonates strongly with Indian travellers — not just for its beauty, but for the warmth of its people and the richness of its culture. We are excited to continue building this bridge, offering unique and unforgettable journeys that connect both our worlds.”
