KLM introduces flat beds in the World Business Class

KLM, the Royal Dutch Airline presented Indian travelers with a new concept of fully flat beds on daily flights from New Delhi to Amsterdam on 28 October, 2013. Starting this winter, all KLM international long-haul destination flights served by Boeing 747-400 will offer its business class passengers the new fully flat beds. Focusing on the comfort of each passenger the new seat will offer more legroom and no middle seat resulting in an exceptional travel experience.

Commenting on the occasion, Yeshwant Pawar, General Manager South Asia, KLM said “KLM continues to invest in customer comfort across the world as this has been our top most priority. The guiding principle to introduce fully flat beds is a step towards enhancing customer comfort and privacy as befits KLM.  The new full-flat seat also plays an important role in helping to strengthen our position as a preferred airline in the Indian market.”

To mark the launch of the fully flat beds in the World Business Class, KLM hosted an elegant evening on 8 November, 2013 in Delhi. With an objective to share the insights on the USPs and features of this new product, KLM brought five electronic 3D pillars to demonstrate the product and its distinctiveness from Amsterdam among their trade partners.
