Kush Kapoor Joins ASSOCHAM as Chairman of National Council on Tourism & Hospitality

Kush Kapoor, CEO Roseate Hotels and resorts, joins the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) as Chairman for National Council on Tourism and Hospitality.
Kapoor, with over 2 decades of experience, has worked with the Taj Group and the Leela Group. In his role as Chairman of National Council on Tourism & Hospitality , ASSOCHAM, his focus areas will be on enhancing digitization ( Travel & Tourism innovations, and digital and new-age technologies); empowerment ( Tourism is about taking a community on a journey, showing them what is possible using the skills they have, those we can teach, and the opportunities we can provide) and sustainability (Sustainable Tourism as ‘Tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts). Kapoor has joined the Chambers when its role in reviving the industry has never been more crucial.
Speaking on his joining, Kapoor, said : "I feel honoured and humbled to join ASSOCHAM. I hope to work with the body to help the hospitality & tourism industry to recover from the aftermath of the pandemic. It will take collective action by stakeholders across both the public and private sectors to ensure recovery and I look forward to sharing my expertise to help guide broad-based progress.”
