Lords Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of its first international property in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal and a major international tourist and pilgrimage destination. Named Mirage Lords Inn, Kathmandu, the hotel offers best of Indian and Nepalese hospitality.
The hotel has 48 well furnished rooms, designed to take care of wide and varied needs of an international traveler. The hotel facilities include a 24 hour multicuisine restaurant-Blue Coriander, a bar Distil, a banquet to host gathering for up to 250 people and an exclusive board room for 25 people. It also boasts of all the standard facilities expected in a property of this stature.
PR Bansal, Managing Director, Lords Hotels and Resorts said, “Kathmandu from the point of view of tourism alone has massive potential but the city still lacks quality accommodation in affordable range. With the opening of our property in Kathmandu, we look forward to bridging this void.”
The Group presently owns and manages 23 hotels in various cities across India covering business, leisure and religious destinations across India and operates under four brands viz Plaza, Inn, Eco Inn & Resorts to suit the needs of wide and varied guests .The chain has aggressive expansion plans with five more property in different parts of the country being planned to be brought under it folds in next six months. By 2016, the chain intends to take the number to 49 hotels, making it the largest operating in its category in the country.
