MADHYA PRADESH CELEBRATES TOURISM FOUNDATION DAY

The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Foundation Day was celebrated on 25 May in Bhopal in the presence of the CM of the State, Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the Minister of State for Tourism and Culture, Surendra Patwa. The CM appreciated the aggressive promotional activities of MPT and complimented its endeavours of resurgence.

On the occasion a guide book on Ujjain and Simhastha, as well as a tourist map of MP, published with Yes bank was released. Coolies on railway stations have been trained by MPT to assist tourists arriving in the state. A number of coolies who have finished the training successfully were presented with arm bands by the CM. A number of hoteliers and travel agents were honoured in this occassion for their excellent service.
