Maishaa Mukadam joins Tourism Australia as Business Development Manager - India

Mukadam is responsible for distribution, partnerships with key distribution and aviation partners, Business Events and the promotion of Aussie Specialist Program.

Tourism Australia announces the appointment of Maishaa Mukadam as the new Business Development Manager – India. Mukadam is based in the Tourism Australia office in Mumbai and recently commenced in the role.

Mukadam brings over 17 years of experience in destination marketing, travel distribution, and business events (MICE) to the team. Her career includes key roles at organisations such as the Singapore Tourism Board, Thomas Cook, GlobalTix, Cipla Pharmaceuticals, Fountainhead, and Apavou Hotels.

In her new role at Tourism Australia, Mukadam is responsible for distribution, partnerships with key distribution and aviation partners, Business Events and the promotion of Aussie Specialist Program.

India is one of Australia’s fastest growing inbound tourism markets and according to Tourism Research Australia’s forecasts it is expected to continue to grow to reach almost 650,000 a year by 2030.
