OYO Introduces Regional Chapters of PAC

OYO Hotels & Homes hosted its first set of regional chapters of Partner Advisory Council meetings in Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Kolkata and Pune respectively under the aegis of OYO Partner Engagement Network (OPEN). OPEN is the ongoing year-long commitment of support and engagement with 18,000+ asset owners across 500+ cities in the country.

The regional Partner Advisory Council meetings were organised to strengthen feedback mechanisms across North, East, South and West regions of the country and put together a body of suggestions and insights that can inform further meetings of the national Partner Advisory Council.

Established in July 2019, the inaugural national Partner Advisory Council, under OPEN provided a unique opportunity to OYO hotel owners, OYO India South Asia leadership and respected third party policy and legal luminaries to represent the interests of the OYO Hotels network across the country and provide a platform to discuss and determine micro and macro issues driving the future of hospitality in India.

Key third party members of the national council include: V.K.Duggal, Former Home Secy and former Manipur and Mizoram Governor; Vinod Zutshi, Former Secretary of Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India; N.R. Wasan, Former Director General of Bureau of Police Research and Development and Kiron Prabhakar, Partner & Founder, PAV Law Offices. In step with the suggestions from the first meeting of the national council, the initiative to set up regional chapters was executed.

“The suggestions and discussions in the regional chapter meetings of OYO India’s Partner Advisory Council lay a strong foundation for what’s to follow. By identifying key areas of improvement and closing plan of actions quickly for activities such as provisioning dedicated hotel management resources, improving brand awareness for mid-market brands and investing in quality checks aggressively, a lot of progress has been made already and we will look to share updates as well as highlight areas for further improvement in our next national PAC meeting in November,” Aditya Ghosh, CEO, India & South Asia, OYO Hotels & Homes, said.
