OYO to create micro-entrepreneurship opportunities in Kevadia

OYO Hotels & Homes has reiterated its commitment to the Gujarat Government’s vision to promote tourism and creating micro-entrepreneurship opportunities in the region, by announcing the opening up of its unique, boutique homestays under its brand, OYO Home. To begin with, the company has opened four homestays in the district and aims to open 20+ by the end of this year.

The recent inauguration of jetty and seaplane service connecting Sabarmati riverfront and Narmada river in the district will also contribute and boost tourism in the region.

“We are committed to Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Gujarat Government’s vision to promote tourism in Kevadia to generate economic and employment opportunities in the district. As we open our doors to welcome tourists and experience the art, culture & heritage of the state of Gujarat, we are hopeful of driving domestic tourism demand to the state. We, at OYO, will continue to empower multiple ancillary industries in the hospitality ecosystem, promote micro-entrepreneurship opportunities and support local businesses in the region. We further plan to onboard 20+ home-stays by the end of this year,” Ritesh Agarwal, Founder & Group CEO, OYO Hotels & Homes, said.
