QATAR AIRWAYS TO CONNECT KOLKATA AND USA

With the imminent launch of new routes to Miami and Dallas, Qatar Airways, the national carrier of the State of Qatar, will provide even greater seamless connectivity through the airline’s flagship wide-body Boeing 777 and Airbus 320 aircraft to seven destinations in the USA from Kolkata with a limited connecting time of 50 – 60 minutes at Doha.
Henry Moses, Country Manager India, Qatar Airways said, “Kolkata - US is one of the fasting growing routes in India and we see tremendous potential from this market. In line with Qatar Airways’ growth strategy in India, many routes are served with multiple frequencies, ensuring maximum connectivity and convenience by providing some of the shortest travel times in the industry.”
Qatar Airways is currently flying to five destinations in the United States - New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston and Philadelphia, but the airline will nearly double its footprint in the country with the addition of two new routes in the coming months – Miami (10 June) and Dallas/Fort Worth (1 July).
The network of Qatar Airways to multiple US gateways and flight connectivity to secondary cities will enable many more travellers from Kolkata to visit the USA. And this seamless connectivity, coupled with the launch of the much anticipated new Hamad International Airport (HIA) in Doha, will further enhance the travel experience and comfort for passengers.
