RAMESH RAMANATHAN ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF AIRDA

Ramesh Ramanathan, Managing Director, Sterling Holiday Resorts (India) has been elected Chairman of All India Resort Development Association (AIRDA) at the recently held Annual General Meeting. AIRDA is an independent, non-profit advisory body set up by the Vacation Ownership industry. AIRDA functions as a self-regulatory body and provides guidance to all stakeholders.
On being elected Chairman of AIRDA, Ramanathan said, “The travel and tourism industry in India is poised for exponential growth. As Indian families adopt holidays as integral to their lifestyle in increasing numbers, Vacation Ownership membership will come to be seen as highly attractive given the concept’s economic and emotional benefits. I look forward to working with AIRDA in providing guidance to the Vacation Ownership industry so that it realizes its full potential. I am also confident that the Vacation Ownership industry can play an integral role in developing destinations, thereby adding impetus to the Incredible India story.”
