Sri Lanka to host multi-city luxury wedding shows in India

Sri Lanka Tourism is set to position the island as one of the most desirable wedding destinations for Indian couples through a series of multi-city luxury wedding shows across India. The campaign aims to highlight Sri Lanka’s natural beauty, venues, and connectivity while strengthening ties with Indian wedding planners, travel agents, and media.
The wedding shows will take place in three major cities: Mumbai – September 7; Ahmedabad – September 9; and New Delhi – September 11, 2025.
At each event, participants are said to engage in B2B networking sessions with representatives from Sri Lankan hotels, luxury resorts, heritage venues, and specialised wedding service providers. Wedding planners and travel agents are said to have the opportunity to explore tailor-made wedding packages, covering from traditional ceremonies to contemporary luxury celebrations.
“Sri Lanka’s unmatched diversity makes it one of the most exciting wedding destinations for Indian couples,” said a spokesperson for Sri Lanka Tourism. “From intimate beach weddings to grand multi-day affairs, the island combines affordability, luxury, and accessibility. We want to inspire Indian couples to see Sri Lanka not only as a tourist spot but also as the perfect canvas for their dream wedding.”
