Summit Hotels unviels Summit Signature Retreat Pangthang in Gangtok

The property features 38 rooms, spa, restaurant, and banquet hall.

Summit Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of Summit Signature Retreat Pangthang in Gangtok, marking the company’s entry into the retreat hotel segment in the state of Sikkim. The 38-room property is located on a hilltop in Pangthang.

Commenting on the launch, Sumit Mitruka, Founder & Managing Director, Summit Hotels & Resorts, said, “Summit Signature Retreat Pangthang reflects our evolving approach to destination-led hospitality in the mountains, where wellness, environment, and local context come together in a subtle and thoughtful manner. The property features 38 rooms across multiple categories, including superior rooms, deluxe rooms, premium suites, attic suites, and luxury suites. Select suites also offer separate living and dining areas, making them suitable for longer stays. The property houses a spa along with spaces for yoga and meditation. The retreat also includes a multi-cuisine restaurant and for events and gatherings, the property features a banquet hall of approximately 5,000 square feet, accommodating over 500 guests.
