TAAI ORGANISES SERVICE TAX PRESENTATIONS PAN INDIA

The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) recently organised events pan India to make Service Tax presentations that have become popular among members and non-members alike. After successful workshops in chapters and regions of TAAI, The Service Tax Workshops being organised by CA Manish Gadia and Sec General Harmandeep Singh Anand reached Pune in April. Over 30 members attended, some of whom had their Chartered Accountants along with them to understand the nitty – gritties of the service tax modules currently in practice and was of immense help to the members. The event was well appreciated by the Members present.
Around 200 people attended the event in Mumbai. Being an interactive session, the association could not complete the presentation in one day and continued the program to cover the remaining aspects in the first week of May 2014.
TAAI Northern Region held it's second meeting in April and was well attended. More than 100 members found the Service Tax presentation very informative and useful for their area of work. The Q & A session that followed were on various Service tax issues. The members also appreciated the efforts of all the office bearers of the NR, especially the Chairman Rajan Sehgal.
A similar session held in Bengaluru in May witnessed over 40 Chapter members in attendance.
