Beyond the holiday season, Air Canada is looking forward to an exciting 2026, with new routes connecting customers to even more destinations, new aircraft featuring redesigned cabins for elevated comfort, and a range of new customer-focused products and services designed to make every journey smoother and more enjoyable.

Air Canada customers will benefit from domestic India connectivity to Amritsar, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kochi via Delhi, and to Delhi and Mumbai via London (Heathrow).

The flights were the first of 155 scheduled for the day as the airline gradually resumes service, beginning with a limited number of international flights. This will gradually increase as the airline restores service in Canada, the U.S. and around the world over the coming days.

On August 17, 2025, the Canadian Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) directed Air Canada to resume airline operations and for all Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge flight attendants to resume their duties by 14:00 EDT on August 17, 2025. Air Canada deeply regrets the impact the labour disruption has had on its customers.

The partnership will connect 10 key destinations across Italy, Africa, Israel and Albania.
