Through cooperation between the Jamaican government, communities, and tourism stakeholders, essential infrastructure has been restored, and resorts and attractions are fully prepared for reopening and are all set to welcome global visitors including from India.

Bartlett activated Recovery Task Force and Tourism Resilience Coordination Committee. Minister noted that both task forces will coordinate closely with the Global Tourism Resilience and Crisis Management Centre to integrate lessons from previous recovery efforts, including Jamaica’s record-breaking post-COVID-19 recovery.
