Taiwan rolls out two new reward campaigns aimed at international visitors and transit passengers

By offering business-class tickets, luxury stays, gift card prizes, and USD 600 airport vouchers, Taiwan’s latest initiatives highlight its signature hospitality and encourage travellers to return, stay longer, and explore more.

The Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) has launched two new initiatives to welcome global travellers: the ‘Taiwan the Lucky Land – Thank You Season’ rewards visitors with monthly prize draws, while the ‘Enter Taiwan, enjoy a Gift!’ campaign offers USD 600 vouchers to transit passengers. Together, these programs highlight Taiwan’s hospitality and invite travellers to return and explore more.

Launched on November 1, 2025, by TTA, ‘Enter Taiwan, enjoy a Gift!’ campaign offers USD 600 vouchers to non-Taiwanese transit passengers who enter Taiwan for up to 24 hours via Taoyuan International Airport. Designed to showcase Taiwan’s charm and boost airport commerce, the initiative highlights Taoyuan Airport’s rising status as a global transit hub, supported by expanding international routes such as new services from Emirates and Etihad. Running through October 31, 2026, the program invites travellers to experience Taiwan’s welcoming culture and creates new opportunities to convert transit visitors into future tourists.

The campaign is aimed at enhancing Taiwan's international visibility and attract return visits from transit passengers. Travellers can register their basic information on the campaign website. Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport, they can present their passport and onward international boarding pass at the TTA's Visitor Service Centres (located at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2) to receive USD 600 shopping voucher. The voucher is valid at participating merchants within the airport, including restaurants, duty-free stores, souvenir shops, and other retail services.

Looking ahead, TTA will continue to engage with stakeholders and partners in order to introduce more such incentives and enhance Taiwan’s destination appeal. These initiatives are aimed at encouraging visitors to stay longer and explore Taiwan, boosting tourist arrivals and spending, enhancing Taiwan’s image as a warm, convenient, and enjoyable international transit hub, and ultimately a travel destination.
