THAILAND HOSTS SONGKRAN LUNCH IN MUMBAI

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Mumbai Office hosted a Songkran special sit-down lunch for the city’s media yesterday. The lunch was a taste of the ongoing Songkran Food Festival & Contest organised by TAT in association with Four Seasons Hotel. The festival aims to showcase the Thai New Year Menu offering traditional celebratory dishes.
As part of the contest, Mumbai diners who join in Thai New Year celebrations at The Songkran Festival at the Four Seasons Mumbai’s San:Qi restaurant stand to win a getaway to Thailand. Soraya Homchuen, Director, TAT Mumbai said, “I think diners from Mumbai and Four Seasons guests elsewhere, will find Songkran Food Festival to be a gourmet treat as people seek out more authentic flavours. It will give would-be travellers a taste of Songkran and therefore entice them to visit Thailand to see and experience the festival first-hand next year. It is also great opportunity – one simply needs to join Songkran celebrations here in Mumbai in order to win a trip to Thailand.”
