TNZ HIGHLIGHTS LUXURY OFFERINGS

Tourism New Zealand, along with Singapore Airlines, recently co-hosted a group of seven travel industry directors from India as a part of an exclusive “India Travel Trade Luxury Famil” that was held across the South Island in New Zealand.
The eight day trip that was hosted by Neha Bhola, India’s Country Manager for Tourism New Zealand, showcased some of New Zealand’s most luxurious experiences for high end FIT luxury travellers. The fam was a complete self-drive experience with the group visiting luxury lodges in Dunedin, Queenstown, Fiordland, Wanaka, Franz Josef and Christchurch, profiling New Zealand as a luxury destination.
They experienced hot air ballooning in Canterbury, the Dart River Jet Safari and skydiving in Queenstown. They also took a helicopter ride over the Franz Josef glacier and later enjoyed the Glacier Hot Pools, a secluded haven of natural tranquillity.
The participating travel directors in the luxury niche segment were chosen by Tourism New Zealand. These included industry leaders from Thomas Cook (India), Kuoni Travel India, Abercrombie & Kent India, TUI India, The Wanderers, Pegasus Travels and Tours and Akshaya India Tours & Travels.
