TOURISM AUSTRALIA UNVEILS NEW ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN

Tourism Australia has unveiled its latest advertising campaign, in collaboration with its key distribution partners to woo Indian travelers into Australia during the upcoming Indian summer holiday season. The integrated advertising campaign will retain the brand theme ‘There’s Nothing like Australia’ to provide further impetus to the growing visitor arrivals from India, and will run between Jan to Apr 2016.
The tactical campaign, in partnership with nine agents incl. Cox & Kings, Mercury Travels, Kesari, MakeMyTrip, Yatra, TUI, Vacations Exotica, Kulin Kumar and SOTC, will put the spotlight on some of the very best attractions, and uniquely Australian experiences using a mix of print, television and online media vehicles.
During this quarter, Tourism Australia will also be collaborating with its key airline partners on a cooperative advertising campaign across various media vehicles, to launch special fares for travel into Australia.
Tourism Australia witnessed record arrivals from India this year, making it the 8th largest inbound tourism market for the country. For the month of November 2015, Australia welcomed 20,300 Indian visitors, recording a growth of 15% over November 2014. Total arrivals for the year ended November 2015 stood at 230,000; an increase of 18% over the previous year.
