Tourism Malaysia felicitated by Lonely Planet

Tourism Malaysia bagged The Best Food & Drink International 2013 Award, at the Lonely Planet Magazine India Awards event held recently in Mumbai. Manoharan Periasamy, Director, Tourism Malaysia said, “Tourism Malaysia is honoured to have been conferred this esteemed recognition, which will further motivate us to intensify our efforts in positioning Malaysia as the world’s leading Food & Drink destination, while promoting its attractions.”
“Besides food, Malaysia also offers tourists a range of activities in which they may engage to experience and fully appreciate the ecotourism experience such as caving, hiking, jungle trekking, white water rafting, rock climbing, bird watching, snorkeling, diving and river cruising” he added.
